Tess Jaray is thrilled to be included in an upcoming exhibition organised by the Government Art Collection in collaboration with Art Explora. This exhibition will bring national collection artworks into communities and reach audiences who would not typically have access to museums and galleries.

In Summer 2026, the Art Explora Mobile Museum will deliver a touring exhibition centred on the theme of the sea, travelling to communities from Plymouth to Preston from 15 June to 13 September 2026. Jaray’s 2001 screenprint, I Was Watching…, from the Rings of Saturn and Vertigo series with W.G. Sebald, will be featured in the touring exhibition, stopping in small towns, villages and outer suburban areas across the country.

This exhibition will offer a programme of visits and participatory art workshops in partnership with schools and community groups.
